The Tax Administration continues the refund process for individuals who benefit from child discounts
and overpaid tax, facilitating the recovery of amounts due to them,
in order to support families.
According to official data, until September 30, 2026, Tax Administration
has refunded 6.84 million euros to 42 132 individuals, within the framework of the return of overpaid tax and benefits from tax deductions for children, declared through the Individual Annual Income Statement (DIVA 2025).
