The journalist of the investigative show “Fiks Fare”, Kamila Xhakaj,
it is reported that he suffered a serious motorcycle accident, ending up in the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
According to a report published by the “Prapaskena” portal,
the journalist suffered fractures in her limbs and received medical treatment after the accident. Until now, the full circumstances of the incident or her current state of health have not been made known.
What has attracted attention is the fact that the accident is reported to have happened a few hours before the broadcast of a material of “Fiks Fare”, where Xhakaj appeared following the former deputy prime minister Belinda Balluku with a microphone.
In the footage of the show, the journalist addressed Balluk with questions related to claims and accusations that have been raised in the public space, seeking an answer from her.
The “Prapaskena” portal has raised questions about the time when the accident occurred, alluding to a possible connection with the journalist's investigative activity.
However, the report does not present evidence that the accident was intentional or related to Balluk or the television material. Consequently, such a link cannot be considered proven.
Kamila Xhakaj was previously involved in the investigative show “Piranjat”, while recently she became part of “Fiks Fare” on Top Channel.
At the moment, the causes of the accident and the health condition of the journalist remain to be clarified.
