New details and evidence have been published in the Greek media regarding the serious event in Athens, where 45-year-old Lulieta Obzova lost her life, while 50-year-old Altin Allmuça also ended his life.
According to Greek media reports, people from the family circle of the two parties have spoken about the days leading up to the event, giving details about the relationship between them and the behavior of the 50-year-old after the end of the relationship.
One of the most serious testimonies is related to Allmuça's last meeting with his 19-year-old daughter.
According to a close friend of the 50-year-old, shortly before the incident, Allmuça had met the girl and had spoken to her in a way that, according to the testimony, gave the impression that he was saying goodbye.
“He met his daughter and said: ‘I love you very much. You are my life. But you hurt me because you didn't support me. I wanted you to be next to me and you may not see me again. It will be the last time you see me,’” his friend said.
After this meeting, according to the same story, the 50-year-old returned to the house where he lived with his family.
“He returned home around four o'clock. He woke up his wife, left her some money and told her to take care of the child,” the friend declared.
Greek media reports that Allmuça then allegedly went to the building where the 45-year-old lived and waited for her to leave.
According to reports about the event, there was a confrontation that ended with the loss of the woman's life, while the 50-year-old man ended his life as well.
But the testimonies published after the event claim that the problems between them had started earlier.
People close to the 45-year-old have stated that she had decided to end the relationship after learning that Allmuça was married and had a 19-year-old daughter.
According to these testimonies, after the end of the relationship, the 50-year-old allegedly did not accept the separation and his behavior towards the woman had become increasingly disturbing.
“Recently, wherever he went and whatever he did, he found her in front of her,” said a relative of the 45-year-old.
The family member also claimed that Allmuça had sent the woman a picture of himself with a gun, accompanied by a threatening message.
“He had sent her a photo with a gun to his head, where he said: ‘I will kill myself and I will kill you,’” she declared.
These claims are part of the testimonies published by the Greek media and present the version of people close to the woman.
According to family members, the concern had reached the point where the relatives had advised the 45-year-old to report the case to the police.
It is also reported that she had taken some measures to feel safer, including changing the locks of the apartment.
An important testimony was also given by the daughter of Lulieta Obzova.
She told the authorities that she was aware of her mother's relationship with the 50-year-old and that her mother had told her that the relationship had ended at the end of February.
“I knew that my mother had been in a relationship recently. She had told me that she had broken up at the end of February. She was worried about this man's behavior because he was constantly causing her problems. She had told me that he was extremely jealous,” she testified.
The published evidence thus describes a relationship that, according to family members, had deteriorated significantly after the separation.
Even a resident of the area where the event took place has told what he heard that day.
“At first I heard a woman's scream and then another shot. There were four shots in total. The fourth was heard very loudly near my door”, he declared.
The resident said that he then went downstairs and saw the 45-year-old lying on the ground.
One of the most emotional testimonies after the whole event came from Altin Allmuça's daughter.
She has stated that she is shocked by what happened and that she finds it difficult to believe that her father was responsible for such an event.
“I am shocked by this whole incident. I cannot believe that my father did this. He is my father and I will miss him. I lost my father, but on the other hand I cannot ignore the fact that he has done wrong, that he has become a murderer. He took the life of a woman and the mother of a girl my age”, she declared.
In her statement, the 19-year-old also expressed solidarity with the 45-year-old's daughter, saying that both are facing the consequences of an event for which they are not responsible.
“I am very psychologically worried about this whole situation. I am not responsible for anything and I sympathize with the other girl's pain. Basically, we are the victims,” she said.
Allmuça's daughter has requested that the families be allowed to cope with their pain away from further public pressure.
“I would very much like this whole story to end here, so that we can calm down and respect our pain, each mourning the people we love,” she added.
The new evidence has put the spotlight especially on the last days and hours before the event, including allegations of threats against the 45-year-old and the words Allmuça allegedly said to his daughter during the last meeting.
“I love you very much. You are my life”, were among the words that, according to his friend, the 50-year-old told the girl, before telling her that it could be the last time she would see him.
The event has left behind two girls and shocked families, while the testimonies published in Greece are giving a more complete picture of the tensions that, according to the relatives, had existed before what happened in Athens.
