The wife of Sokol Olldashi, Enkelejda Olldashi, spoke today in a live broadcast on ‘Alshpiëria Live’. She said that many things would be different if Olldashi was in the DP today.
Before Olldashi tragically lost his life in a car accident on November 20, 2013, he was a deputy of the Democratic Party in the Assembly, elected in the Fier District.
In DP, he was a member of the Presidency and the National Council, and only a few months ago, in July 2013, he ran for DP president against Lulzim Basha.
He left the post of Minister of Public Works and Transport in September 2013, after the change of government.
“Many things could have been different in the political force he (Sokol Olldashi) was a part of. It is not only the responsibility of this government, but of the entire establishment from 1991 until now.
This revolt, we are against destruction, but it is an accumulated revolt that the ears of all politicians of all colors must hear. Boycott is a voluntary student behavior and none of the lecturers encourages it, but we respect it. When the students are not in the auditorium, we have to be where the students are and we are there”, she said.
