open letter to Rama and supported the students,

Allegations for a fine of around 2 million euros against the businesses of Elisa Spiropali's husband, after her clashes with Edi Rama, have been made public by journalist Basir Çollaku.

He said in an interview for “NTV Television” that Taxes have tried to impose a financial penalty on the businesses of the MP's family, while linking this development with her recent positions within the SP and the letter addressed to the Prime Minister. In the background of these developments, Spiropali was also absent from the meeting of the Parliamentary Group of the SP, while Rama asked the MPs to go to the field, at a time when the protests against the government continue.

“In Spiropali, there is also an early clash with her husband's businesses. With the information I have - it must be formalized, but the sources are reliable - there was a tax attempt to impose a very significant fine on her family's businesses. In the last few days, to my knowledge, sometime on October 13, the decision-making act of the fine in an amount of six figures.

Close to 2 million euros, close, something less or more. So this is what I know, that there was an attempt to sanction it as a financial penalty from the taxpayers. I don't know how formalized it is, to my knowledge it's an attempt, let's say... how legal it is, how much has happened, have they withdrawn.

But I know that it is a kind of confrontation of this nature, since she voted after the opposition for the reform and the softened vote of the letter that scolded and suggested leaving, and in the end she closed it with her knowledge of the great heart of the prime minister, that he could do even more, it was more good than bad.

So, a prayer-punishment. We know he read it and posted it. Then the product is that even the prime minister does not make the programs himself, he only reads them. He can only benefit from the money himself”, said Basir Çollaku, among other things.

Spiropali's absence at the meeting of the Socialist Group We remind you that at yesterday's meeting of the SP group, MP Elisa Spiropali was not present, who a few days ago addressed Edi Rama with an open letter, asking him for a political solution to the situation created after the student protests. The reason for Spiropal's absence from the meeting is still unknown, while the meeting came at a time when the country is involved in massive protests. Also, Spiropali has announced that his official Facebook page has been blocked.

Through a post on Instagram, Spiropali announces that she has not had access to her website for three days, while she is cooperating with the company Meta for its restoration.

“For three days, my official Facebook page has been blocked. We are working closely with Meta to restore it as soon as possible,” she writes. The former Speaker of the Assembly has called on citizens who wish to contact her to temporarily use Instagram, thanking them for their support. The reasons for the blocking of Spiropali's Facebook are still unknown and there is no confirmation that this development is related to her political views.

What did Rama ask the deputies in the meeting that Spiropali was absent? On the other hand, Rama in his speech asked the socialist deputies to continue their work and maintain constant contact with the citizens, to listen closely to their grievances. According to Rama, the non-appearance of the deputies in the field is creating the idea in the public perception that they are hiding because of the protests.

“The people are looking for you at ‘Pasqyra’, there is silence. The silence is creating the conspiracy that the MPs are hiding. What are you doing with politics these days?”, Rama is said to have told the Socialist MPs. The genesis of the student protest, which has been accompanied by violent revolts, was not a random outburst.

It came as a result of a long-accumulated dissatisfaction of the youth, who have been protesting for a long time, but their voice with peaceful protests was not heard. Discussions about tuition fees, the quality of teaching and conditions in the dormitories have long been at the center of complaints, but apparently the government did not think that this would explode into a massive and persistent movement.

The first day of the protest started modestly, seemingly like an ordinary gathering. A small group of students, tired of broken promises and “turning a blind eye” from the institutions, gathered at the Ministry of Education. With slogans and improvised placards, they expressed their outrage. But what started as a lone voice soon found an echo.

The news quickly spread on social media, inspiring hundreds of others to join. Within a few hours, the number of protesters increased significantly, blocking traffic on the main road and “exploding” in protests with large revolts.

Revolted, the students started setting fire to state institutions and banks. Meanwhile, as the rallies continue, they have never stopped the call “Rama resigns”.
