Full reaction:
Erjon Vishkulli, has successfully undergone surgical intervention at the “Gemelli” clinic in Rome, which has saved the boy's eye organ. On behalf of myself and the Albanian government and with deep gratitude, I thanked Professor Stanislao Rizzon, who with high professionalism, dedication and human sensitivity successfully performed the intervention, while the government also approved financial support for Erjon today.
Beyond knowledge and professional ability, it is precisely this human side, the joining of forces in humanity that makes these situations so special. I wish Erjon a good recovery and strength in every next step. The success of the intervention is good news, while the journey towards the restoration of eyesight will continue with patience and faith. Sincere thanks to Professor Rizzo for what he did and congratulations to Erjon's family and friends.
