Elisa Spiropali has announced that her official Facebook page has been blocked for three days, at a time when her statements about the political situation in the country have received considerable attention.
Through a post on Instagram, Spiropali announced that she currently does not have access to her Facebook page and that she is cooperating with the company Meta for its return.
She has asked her followers, until further notice, to contact her through Instagram, thanking them for their understanding and support.
The situation comes after Spiropali's critical stance towards political developments in Albania and her appeal to Prime Minister Edi Rama to “open his arms”, paving the way for a rotation within the Socialist Party.
Her statement was made in a period of political tensions, while student protests in Tirana have increased the pressure on the government.
At the moment, Spiropali is using Instagram as the main channel of communication with followers, pending the resolution of the problem with Facebook.
