The voice of Shpat Kasapi has returned to the public through a song
that carries a special story and strong emotions.
The musical project “A je rahat pa mu” was published by his wife,
Selvije Jao, who had kept it for months, without finding the strength to share it with the public.
Through a post on Instagram, Selvija has revealed that the story of the song started shortly before Shpati entered “Big Brother VIP Albania 5”, an experience that the singer did not manage to live.
According to her, Shpati had sent her four demo versions and asked her to choose the one she liked best. She had chosen exactly the song that has already been published, while the plan was for it to come out during his stay in the “Big Brother” house.
But the untimely death of the singer in November last year changed everything.
Selvija has shown that around March or April, producer Anton Prendi had sent her the finished song. She has also thanked Arti Rec and Imperial B for their input and support.
However, for months, the project remained only for him. Pain and emotional burden did not allow him to share with the public a song that had already taken on a completely different meaning.
“Today, the title ‘A je rahat pa mu’ hurts me more than any other word”, wrote Selvija on social networks.
For him, the release of the song is more than a musical project. She considers it as a bequest of Shpati, a way to keep his voice alive and to give the public the opportunity to hear it once more.
Thus, “A je rahat pa mu” comes as an emotional memory for the late singer, bringing back through music a part of his voice and history.
