
The Kosovo Police blocked several roads in the capital today, due to the protest that is being held today in Pristina.
The protest was organized by the call of the Organization of War Veterans of the UÇK (OVL-UÇK), which called on the categories left by the war, as well as citizens, to join the gathering in the square of Pristina.
In an announcement published on social networks, OVL-UÇK has called on the participants to be united and maintain dignity during the protest.
“To protect what is ours and to prove that the KLA unites us”, the announcement of the organization states.
Due to the protest, the Kosovo Police has taken measures for security and traffic management in the capital, temporarily blocking some roads.
Citizens have been advised to be careful when moving in the areas where the gathering is taking place and to use alternative routes.
The protest is expected to continue during the day in the square of Pristina.
