The suspect in the murder of Arlinda Zekaj is still on the run.<\/p>\n
This is what the Kosovo Police announced this morning, after the serious murder that happened last night in Vitomirica, Peja, klankosova.tv reports.<\/p>\n
According to police reports, Arlinda was found without signs of life on Sunday night in the village of Vitomirica in Peja, just a few hours after a case of domestic violence was reported.<\/p>\n
According to the announcement of the Kosovo Police, around 19:00, the Police Station in Pej\u00eb was notified of a case of domestic violence. The victim was accompanied to the police station, where she was interviewed, while her husband, who is suspected in the case, was also arrested and interviewed.<\/p>\n
Based on the police information, her husband was detained for 48 hours, while the victim, of her own volition, was sent to her home in Vitomirica.<\/p>\n
However, around 21:10, the police were notified that the woman was found without signs of life.<\/p>\n
According to initial police data, it is suspected that the woman's death was caused by blows with a strong tool.<\/p>\n
For the second case, a person who is suspected to be the victim's brother-in-law, who is currently on the run, has been identified as a suspect.<\/p>\n
